Nuno Felting Workshop

This technique is also a wonderful way to upcycle old scarves or clothing made from open-weave natural fibers – so feel free to bring along anything you’d like to incorporate into your piece. No prior experience needed, just a willingness to explore! While the process involves some mild repetitive motion, the results are truly magical.

What You’ll Learn

Under the expert guidance of Gill you will:

• Learn step-by-step how to craft your own Nuno-felted scarf

• Explore alternative patchwork styles if you prefer to experiment

• Get inspired by a variety of samples Gill will bring along

• Discover different techniques for working with natural fibres

At the end of the workshop, you will take home:

• A handcrafted Nuno-felted scarf or fabric piece

• Notes and techniques to continue felting at home

What to Bring

• An old towel

• Scissors

• A waterproof or plastic bag to take your wet towel and felt home
