NIDA Spring Production Season

When

Mondays and Thursdays, 2pm to 7pm Monday 3 November to Thursday 13 November

Cost

Starting from: $10 - $45

NIDA’s Spring Production Season runs from 3-13 of November 2025. Led by guest professional directors Marion Potts, Lee Lewis and Constantine Costi are joined by NIDA Head of Directing Benjamin Schostakowski to lead the four captivating productions brought to life by a new generation of Australian storytellers.

Kate Mulvany’s version of Mary Stuart pits two queens in a fight for one throne, the World Premiere of Melanie Tait's The Royal Experiment uncovers the women who eradicated smallpox centuries before the world listened, Orpheus in the Underworld hurls us into a riotous, Can-Can-fuelled afterlife, and Peter Pan shimmers in a live-cinema dreamscape, where eternal youth meets the courage to grow up.

These four productions showcase the talents of NIDA students across acting, design, costume, props and effects, technical theatre, stage management, and set construction technologies.

Tickets to this unmissable season are available now.
