University Place, University of Sydney, Camperdown NSW 2006
When

Tuesday 19 August from 12pm to 2pm

Join us in the Chau Chak Wing Museum for a special event, when dancers and choreographers from the University of Sydney Union’s MADSOC (Movement and Dance Society) take over the museum’s galleries for a series of performances by a number of different dance groups.

Across the museum see talented students perform in a range of dance styles all self-choregraphed.

Some of the performative pieces will reflect on surrounding artworks and exhibitions, and others will reflect broader concepts of what a museum is and of historic themes such as ‘history repeating itself’ or ‘it is often the victors who retell the stories of history’.

Come and support the talented students of the University of Sydney.

A full program of performances will be listed closer to the performance date.
