Moonage Daydream + Bowie Tribute Performance

When

Saturday 30 May from 7pm to 10pm

Cost

Starting from: $35.00

Moonage Daydream shows at Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace this May as we celebrate David Bowie’s life ten years since his passing. The legendary artist is regarded as among the most influential musicians of the 20th century.

This special screening features a live performance from band Ground Control playing Bowie hits and fan favourites before the film. All tickets include a complimentary glass of sparkling wine on arrival.

From Oscar-nominated filmmaker Brett Morgen, director of Cobain: Montage of Heck, and featuring never-before-seen concert footage, Moonage Daydream is an immersive cinematic experience; an audio-visual space odyssey that not only illuminates the enigmatic legacy of David Bowie but also serves as a guide to living a fulfilling and meaningful life in the 21st Century.

Moonage Daydream is not a documentary. It is a genre-defying cinematic experience based on one of the most iconic and global rock stars of all time, destined to be one of the defining cultural moments of the year

The film has the full support of Bowie’s estate and features many of his greatest tracks, as well as previously unseen concert footage.

About Ground Control

A fresh 7-piece ensemble, Ground Control delivers a set of the Starman’s hits and choice deep cuts from across all eras, 100% live.

Sax, percussion, four part harmonies and a remarkable vocal likeness from singer Dan Murphy (The Pragmatics) place Ground Control at the peak of Bowie interpretations.
