Michael Witts – double book launch

Michael Witts will be launching two recently published poetry collections: Some Dualities (Proverse Press Hong Kong) and 28 Sonnets (Press Press Poetry) at 6pm Sunday 16 March 2025.

The manuscript of Some Dualities won the Proverse Prize 2023. This prize, now in its 18th year, is awarded by the Hong Kong publisher for an unpublished manuscript of any genre. Some Dualities brings together most of the poems written by Michael Witts over the last fifteen years and is available locally through Amazon Australia.

28 Sonnets was published in April 2024 by Press Press Poetry. This chapbook collects most of the autobiographical sonnets written by Michael Witts in 2023.

Michael Witts is a Sydney based poet. He has been writing and publishing for more than fifty years. His five collections are Sirens, South, Dumb Music, 28 Sonnets and Some Dualities. He is widely published in magazines and online journals locally.
