Martin Place Christmas Markets

In partnership with the City of Sydney, the Martin Place Christmas Markets return to the heart of Sydney’s CBD, transforming the city centre into a sparkling festive wonderland.

Held over 4 magical weeks, this curated market features artisan shopping, gourmet festive food, and joyful entertainment under the city’s iconic Christmas tree.

With its central location, extended evening trading hours, and focus on eco-conscious celebration, the Martin Place Christmas Markets are set to be a highlight of the festive season for both locals and visitors.

The Christmas markets are open Thursday 27 November - Sunday 30 November for their opening weekend, and then every Thursday - Saturday, 4 December - 20 December.

This year, Cambridge Markets is proud to introduce a washable service system in partnership with Betizen, aiming to significantly reduce single-use waste and make the market one of the most sustainable in the city.

How's it work? To opt-in to get your food in reusable containers

• Register for free (there’s a $7 hold on the card, it’s only charged if you don’t return the containers)

• Show your pass when you order

• Get your food in a reusable container (you can order as much as you like on the same pass)

• When done, take your containers to an onsite collection point

• Scan the QR code and drop it off

The containers are then washed and put back into circulation at the market.
