Kids will get to play and create with the latest makerspace kits and electronic gadgets in these free sessions in the Darling Square Library makerspace.

They’ll enjoy different activities each fortnight designed to help build digital and making skills. Kids can get hands-on with our makerspace kits, including Spheros and mBots, or battle it out with our Edison robots. They’ll also get to make things that fly in our wind tube and light up LEDs using conductive tape.

  • Our activities are appropriate for children aged 8 years and above. We think carefully about the suggested age range for our activities.

  • Please note prior to booking: we host a mix of different activities each session. Due to the nature of our programs some of these activities may be repeated.

  • Parents and guardians must stay in the library during the session.

  • Bookings are essential. Places are limited to 12 children in each session.
