Lonnie Lee Autobiography Book Launch

Lonnie is a music legend. He was one of the 3 major stars of the first Rock ‘n’ Roll era starting in 1956 and still performing today in major venues. He has written his autobiography which will be released in 4 volumes, the first 2 already published: Almost a Star, 244 pages from his birth to 1957, and 348 page Starlight Starbright, from 1959 to 1971. As well as amazing stories of his life and society then, they also feature many photographs.
The free launch will be at Gleebooks in Glebe, Wednesday 17 September 2025 6pm to 8pm. He will have a book signing after the interview with music critic Bernie Howitt and a Q&A and songs.
A very rare event to get up close to a true legend and to ask him about his life and society.
