Live music program: Erratic ecstatic

When

Wednesday 8 January from 8pm to 9pm Wednesday 15 January from 8pm to 9pm

Head to the Art Gallery of New South Wales for two massive Wednesday nights of contemporary music in January.

Korean–Australian future-facing hip-hop act 1300 and Malay-born Chinese–Australian hyper-pop performance artist Dyan Tai bring chaos and energy to the Art Gallery of New South Wales’ new building, Naala Badu, in association with the exhibition Cao Fei: My City is Yours 曹斐: 欢迎登陆.

1300: Wednesday 8 January, 8–9pm

The series kicks off on with 1300, who push the limits of global hip-hop through their high-octane bilingual flow.

Dyan Tai: Wednesday 15 January, 8–9pm

Dyan Tai will bring joy and rapturous energy through a performance blending an eclectic mix of hyper pop fused with Beijing opera and traditional Southeast Asian soundscapes.
