Lease of Love is a new original theatre show created by Hannah Clare and a team of young emerging artists.

The show challenges the idea that romance has faded over time. It shows us how instead, love has adapted, becoming more honest and more tender in today’s culture. It shines a light on Australia’s ongoing rental crisis – the pressure and unpredictability of shared living, and how these external forces shape the way we form and maintain relationships. This story reflects the vulnerability needed for humanity to truly co-exist – in love, in friendship, and in the same small apartment.

Featuring 6 original songs and a stellar cast, Lease of Love is ready to become the show of the summer. Bring your besties, bring a date and get ready for a night of spicy romance and heartfelt humour!

Lease of Love is recommended for ages 15+. It features mature language and sexual content and scenes. Run time is 1 hour 45 minutes, including an intermission.
