In the First Steps Reading Club (Level A1), students begin their literary journey in Spanish in the library's welcoming environment, guided by a teacher from the centre who moderates each session.

The focus will be on very simple texts —short stories or adapted readings — with basic vocabulary, allowing participants to understand common expressions and simple sentences and to practise pronunciation.

Sessions take place before class time, in a hybrid format: students who attend in person will meet in the library room, while online participants will join with real-time digital support.

The aim is to build confidence in reading, listening, asking questions, and sharing what has been read, while reinforcing what is learnt in class and encouraging the enjoyment of reading in Spanish from the very first levels.
