Jazz Upstairs: Gary Daley's Round the Sun band

JAZZ UPSTAIRS is proud to present GARY DALEY'S ROUND THE SUN BAND.

Highly respected performer & composer, Gary Daley, has assembled several of Australia’s preeminent young improvisors to perform his renowned music. 

The Round the Sun band features: 

• Gary Daley, composer, piano accordion and electronics

• Hilary Geddes, electric guitar 

• Jacques Emery, double bass 

• Chloe Kim, drums. 

For this performance, one of our finest drummers, Nic Cecire, will be joining the band. A sensitive improvisor and one of the most in demand drummers on the Australian scene. 

The Round The Sun band will present a selection of Daley’s music which has been heard on numerous stages and events throughout Australia & internationally. 

A mix of contemporary jazz, classical and improvisation performed with great passion and virtuosity by an exemplary band.
