In this high-octane improvised show, the ITS Ensemble take the classic Harold structure and throw it into a genre blender. At the top of the night, the audience suggests a wild ride of genres – anything from gritty film noir to swooning telenovelas, sci-fi epics, true crime, or even psychological thriller.
Each new scene hurtles into a fresh genre, shaping the characters, dialogue, and world with cinematic flair and theatrical twists. Just when you’ve settled into one universe, the show swerves into another – keeping both players and audience on the edge of their seats.
The result? A rollercoaster of styles, tones, and storytelling that still weaves back together into the beloved Harold tapestry: unexpected connections, spiralling patterns, and comedic explosions.
