Want to start making your own video games? Join this 3-hour beginner session at Darling Square Library Makerspace and learn how to create interactive 2D games using Unity, one of the most popular game development engines in the world.
This workshop is designed for adults with little or no coding experience. You’ll learn the fundamentals of game logic, scene creation, and C# scripting while building a simple playable game.
What You’ll Learn
How to navigate Unity’s interface and scene editor
Basics of game objects, components, and physics
Introduction to C# scripting for interactivity
How to create a simple interactive 2D game
By the end of this session, you’ll have a working prototype and the foundational skills to continue your game development journey with Unity.

Cost: $40 full price / $33 concession per person

Parental permission is required for under 18s
Experience level: This is a beginner workshop with no required knowledge
