Intro to West Coast Swing

Imagine you could dance to all your favourite songs effortlessly, impressing even yourself with your skills. This is what we do all the time in West Coast Swing and anyone can come along, learn and become part of our community.

We're doing it again! Bringing you a couple of hours of a new, exciting hobby, then set you loose onto a dance floor to show off the new moves.

Bring your friends, partners, anyone who you think would be interested in trying out a new dance! Don't worry if you don't bring anyone with you, you'll have the opportunity to dance with other first timers on the day.

This a 2 hour taster session + social dancing to introduce you to basic patterns of West Coast Swing and what makes it unique.

Schedule

• 2pm warm up and stretching

• 2.05pm workshop begins

• 4.15pm social dancing

There will be social dancing (or having a chat with your new friends is also acceptable0 after the workshop finishes.

Location & Parking

Tropical Soul Dance Studio on Parramatta Road. There is plenty of parking nearby and a few buses that stop nearby.
