Sunday 28 June from 9am to 7pm
I Couldn’t Care Less About All the Beauty in the World presents an endurance reading of former MET security guard Patrick Bringley’s memoir All the Beauty in the World, staged by and for aspiring, current, or former front-of-house museum workers.
Bringing together museum workers from across multiple Australian institutions, this reading seeks to leverage Bringley’s memoir to create its own para-institutional space to discuss the discursively erased histories, perspectives and traditions of front-of-house museum work in Australia.
Reading will begin at 9am and run until approximately 7pm. Readers will take turns in 45 minute shifts, between which, there will be a short discussion.
