The premiere of Jake Stewart's newest play.
‘Hold Me Hold Me Hold Me’ is a spiralling collection of vignettes, all featuring the two-man cast of Callum O’Mara (‘Who’s Afraid of Vagina Wolves?’, 'The 6 Guys an Immigrant Trans Person of Colour will Date in Melbourne') and Wheeler Maurer (‘Beauty and The Beast’, ‘Pride & Prejudicks’).
The play charts the journey of two cosmically-connected souls. As ever, this work sees Stewart dwell on the heat and immediacy of theatrical intimacy, as well as on the desperate human drive to connect through language. Traversing space and time, ‘Hold Me Hold Me Hold Me’ chases down the human consequences of obsessive, loving, spiritual magnetism, and excitedly tastes the long fingers of destiny.
From the company behind the sell-out Renaissance hit ‘David’, and their recent “kinky gay masterpiece” (The Dialog) adaptation of ‘Beauty and The Beast’, comes ‘Hold Me Hold Me Hold Me’ – Kissing Booth’s brand new, sumptuous, and sweaty celebration of the centuries-spanning journey of soulmates.
Written and directed by Jake Stewart – the playwright behind such recent works as ‘David’, ‘Pinocchio’, ‘Pride & Prejudicks’, 'Beauty and The Beast', 'Hyacinth', and ‘Who’s Afraid of Vagina Wolves?’ – comes his newest heaping of heinous gayness.
