Hive Festival for kids

When

Every day, 10am to 5pm Saturday 18 January to Sunday 19 January

Explore a world of art-making and play!

Enjoy a free, fun-filled festival for children and families at the Art Gallery of New South Wales on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 January 2025.

Come together for art-making, be immersed in the magic of storytelling and experience unique performances. There’s a surprise at every turn!

At Hive’s heart this summer is a joyful project, Flights of fancy, by Sydney-based artists Claire Healy and Sean Cordeiro.

Access programs include a sensory-friendly early-entry session with reduced sensory stimuli and a variety of sensory activities on offer, as well as an autism-friendly session of the Dancing in the sky workshop.

Co-presented by the Art Gallery of New South Wales and Blacktown Arts and supported by The Bayard Foundation, Hive Festival is part of the Sydney Festival 2025
