Guided Ride: Erskineville to Oxford Street Cycleway

Where
Erskineville Rd
Newtown NSW 2042
Australia
Erskineville Square
When

Sunday 16 November from 9:30am to 11:30am

Join us on a free 10km guided ride from Erskineville to the Oxford Street Cycleway, showcasing Sydney’s separated cycleways and shared paths. Along the way you’ll ride some of the City of Sydney’s most striking infrastructure — from rainbow crossings and paths that have become landmarks in their own right to connections that demonstrate how the network is growing.

This ride is perfect for people wanting to learn low-pressure, bicycle-friendly routes to navigate their city. We’ll move at a leisurely pace, giving you time to enjoy the sights, take photos, and chat with guides and fellow riders.

Riding is about building connections, not just the journey. Make friends, exchange stories, and gain confidence to plan your own trips.

You’ll need:

  • Your own roadworthy bike and helmet, tyres pumped.

  • Water bottle and snacks

  • Your sense of adventure

  • Please arrive at 9:15am for a 9:30am start.

  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Bookings required.

Guided rides on behalf of the City of Sydney are led by friendly professional guides from Pedal Set Go.

We recommend completing the Cycling in the City course before joining a guided ride. The course is designed to develop the skills and confidence required to be an effective rider in Sydney—including how to ride safely in a group.
