Tuesday 14 May from 3pm to 5:30pm

Join us for a unique evening at the award-winning Hickson House Distillery in The Rocks, Sydney, as we delve into the critical intersection of events, hospitality, and sustainability during Climate Action Week.

"Ginside Chat" is designed to bring together the vast network of interlinked event services, from venues to designers, producers, marketing firms and more.

Our panel, featuring voices from across industry, will explore key questions surrounding sustainability in events: Who holds the responsibility? Where lie the untapped opportunities? What trends are shaping the future?

Our aim is to illuminate the path for event industry players, offering education and insights into the opportunities within sustainable event management.

We strive to establish and bring a clear framework and definitions, setting the standard for what constitutes a truly sustainable event and how we can win more business by helping your clients achieve this goal.

Event Format:

The evening will commence with a panel discussion led by NetNada, followed by an interactive Q&A session.

The discussions will pave the way for networking, allowing attendees to forge meaningful connections over drinks, all within the eco-conscious backdrop of Hickson House.

Sustainability Practices at the Event:

In keeping with our theme, the event will take place at Hickson House Distillery, renowned for its commitment to sustainable practices. They have achieved a Carbon Committed Certification with NetNada.

Join us at Ginside Chat to be part of a pivotal conversation that promises to redefine sustainability in the event and hospitality industry. Together, let's lead the charge towards a more sustainable future, one event at a time.

This event is part of Sydney Climate Action week; a series of community-led events from all aspects of the climate action ecosystem running from the 13-19 May 2024. This event is proudly supported by City of Sydney, Greenhouse and Boundless.
