This is a free stand-up comedy class.

Taught by the Sydney Comedy School, this free class will take you through the basics of joke-writing and how to be funnier when speaking to other people.

There are six different classes in total. Classes will cover:

After the class, at 7:30pm there is the Sydney Stand-Up Comedy Championships featuring Sydney's top comedians. (It's optional to stay for the show – but most people in the class stay to watch it!)

Timings:

  • Arrival: 6pm

  • Class: 6:15pm

  • Break: 7pm (30 minutes)

  • Show: 7:30pm (2 hours with an intermission at 8:30)
