Wednesday 11 March from 6pm to 8pm
Join the Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Fashion & Textiles for an evening celebrating circular design and the next generation of sustainable fashion innovation.
Hosted in partnership with DISSH, this showcase highlights a collaborative circularity project involving final-year students from University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and The Fashion Design Studio (FDS), TAFE NSW repurposing otherwise unwearable garments into their final collections - upcycling into new designs.
The event includes a panel discussion hosted by Dr Lisa Lake, Director of the Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Fashion & Textiles, featuring Athena Savvas, DISSH Sustainability and Impact Manager alongside students and educators from UTS and FDS TAFE NSW, exploring the future of circular fashion through collaboration, creativity and innovation.
