On the second Sunday of every September, Australia's most anticipated kite flying event, Festival Of The Winds, takes over Bondi Beach. Professional kite flyers and makers descend on the beach to show off kites big and small to the soundtrack of concerts in Bondi Park.
The festival welcomes people of all ages for a celebration of kite making and flying, alongside a full-day program of entertainment in Bondi Park and Bondi Pavilion, as well as delicious food stalls and arts and crafts.
