Dan Marshall teaches participants how to write and illustrate fact-based books during Family Sunday!

Come along to this hands-on session, where Dan Marshall will share the creative process behind some of the visual facts in No Way! _and _Eww Gross. Discover how to turn facts into fantastic illustrations and bring your own facts to life visually!

Recommended for ages 8–12.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This event is presented in partnership with Sydney Writers’ Festival.

About Dan Marshall

Dan Marshall is a graphic designer, illustrator and writer who has been drawing since he was young. His clients have included Facebook, Sydney Opera House and Australian Museum. Dan has had five books published: Mind Blown, Look Book, No Way!, Super Duper _and _Eww GrossNo Way! was listed as a Notable Book in 2022 by the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA). In 2024 Eww Gross _was shortlisted for the Eve Pownall Award for information books by the CBCA. Dan’s books have been licensed internationally in Germany, Greece, South Korea, Russia, China, Poland and Turkey. His new illustrated book, _False Versus Facts is out in October 2025.
