Have a light-bulb moment during your visit to Hiroshi Sugimoto: Time Machine. Harness your creativity after experiencing the MCA's major winter exhibition, free for children and youth (17 & under).

Families of all ages are invited to immerse themselves in a light studio and ‘paint with photons’, inspired by artist Hiroshi Sugimoto's Opticks photographic series. Come along to experiment with refracted light, create layered compositions and capture your light creations with your phone, or other type of camera from home. All other materials are provided.

Light Lab is a free, drop-in activity space suitable for all ages. It is open every weekend and everyday during term 3 school holidays (30 Sep–11 Oct).
