Sunday 27 September from 4pm to 5pm
There is also a 30-minute Drama Workshop from 3pm at a cost of $10
Exploring sibling relationships, change, and the courage it takes to grow.
The show follows a pair of twins soon to turn six. Told that they'll be in separate classes after their birthday, one twin - quiet and fearful of change - decides to stay five forever, while the other - boisterous and brave - tries to help them discover the joy of growing and making new friends.
Through music, movement, playful audience interaction and the choreography of everyday objects - paper and boxes - the performance creates a magical world that mirrors children’s emotional landscapes. An uplifting original score by Matthew Wilder (Disney’s Mulan) supports a story that is funny, tender and deeply relatable.
Designed to be inclusive and accessible, Especially on Birthdays invites children to participate, interpret and imagine, making each performance a shared celebration.
Recommended for ages 3-7 and their families
