Drawing with Charcoal - one day workshop in studio

When

Sunday 26 April from 10am to 2pm

Charcoal is a powerful and atmospheric medium that allows the artist a full range of expressive gesture.

This workshop will provide insight and guidance in gestural mark making, creating light and shade, tonal balance and the qualities of the medium. From provided source material we will undertake cityscapes, portraits, figures, animals and more. We will also explore how charcoal can combine with other media in a dynamic way.

Previous experience not required. Beginners welcome.
