Eora/Sydney-based band Cone of Confusion is celebrating the release of their new single Thread Of Life. For the occasion, they will be performing at Low 302, Surry Hills, and will be joined by Ofri on support.

“This is killer [...] perfect track as spring kicks in” – 2ser radio

Cone of Confusion blends sounds between psych, ambient, prog rock and jazz fusion. The psych band takes audiences on a voyage through textural soundscapes and improvisation, travelling through dissonant musical galaxies to reach sonic utopia.

“Cone Of Confusion laid out their instrumental magic to an enthralled audience.” – BackSeat Mafia

“An experimental tour-de-force… forged in a realm somewhere between West Africa and deep space.” – TheMusic

Ofri is a Sydney-based singer-songwriter whose unashamedly candid lyrics and intricate piano-vocal arrangements form a particular (and peculiar) brand of chamber pop. She will be joined onstage by bassist Phil Langshaw and saxophonist Emma Korell for a live set that’s part 90s art-pop revivalism, part Lilith Fair, part alternative folk, and yet completely, utterly Ofri.
