As Simon Marnie describes them, it’s “like walking through a music festival in a European village.”Led by Kathy Bluff on violin and vocals, the ensemble features Paul Burjan on saxophone and flute, Gary Daley of The Catholics on piano accordion, John Blenkhorn on guitar, Merv Sequeira on double bass, and Mike Quigley on drums.Together they create a rich orchestral palette, weaving soulful vocals into brilliant gypsy swing, cool blues, and continental style jazz that is truly unmatched among Australian groups.
