Climate Action Week Sydney 2026 will formally open with a Smoking Ceremony to honour Country and recognise the enduring leadership and stewardship of First Nations peoples.
As a week centred on climate action and care for our environment, we wish to begin by grounding the program in respect, reflection and shared responsibility. This ceremony will set the tone for the days ahead - acknowledging the wisdom of the world’s oldest living cultures and the deep connection between community, land and climate.
