Burlyflexx - 8 Week Intermediate Course @ One Playground

Welcome to the dazzling world of Burlesque with 'Burlyflexx'! Led by the mesmerising performer, Lou P Scarlett, this electrifying 8-week program is designed to ignite your confidence and celebrate your unique sensuality. This course is designed for Intermediate dancers, who have already completed the classic Burlyflexx course, or are confidence dancing.

Neo-Burlesque fuses the traditional elements of classic burlesque with modern styles of dancing, music and pop culture. This course will teach you the core moves of Burlesque; the bump grind, shimmy, shake and strut. You’ll learn the power of stage presence, character development and costume creation and incorporate all you learn in a fierce and sensual modern strip-tease routine. This group routine will be performed in your final week at One Playground for Lou P and fellow students.

Nipple tassels, gloves and 1x costume piece (this will be presented through the duration of the course)

What You Need To Provide:

Lingerie (bra, underwear, stockings) + heels

Commences: Sunday 22nd March 2026, 10.30am - 11.45am (Running for 7x consecutive weeks!)

One Playground Performance Day @ Marrickville - Sunday 10th May 2026, 3.30pm-4.30pm

External Performance @ The Vanguard Newtown - Wednesday 13th May 2026 (optional)
