Friday 31 October from 10am to 4pm
The world of books is vast and varied, and materials such as covers, text pages or illustrations from pre-loved books, maps and other printed matter all offer potential to be upcycled and transformed and to have new life breathed into them!
In this hands-on workshop you will make folded structures including the Columbus cube, and some of the many forms of the humble concertina, like the snake book and the leporello.
Discover how these simple but effective techniques can be used to make books that express your individual style and imagination.
This workshop is suitable for all levels: the only prerequisite is the willingness to play.
Meet for this workshop outside the John B Fairfax Learning Centre.
