About Magda Myszkowski:

Magda is passionate about art, finding deep healing and nurturing through her creative process.

She collaborates with people of all ages and abilities, using art as a tool for fun and therapy. Her vibrant woven pieces are quirky, colourful and optimistic, drawing inspiration from her Polish heritage and folk traditions, navigating thoughts on identity and cultural connections.

With over 20 years of experience as an interior designer, Magda specialises in projects with social impact, such as designing for people living with dementia and creating educational spaces for students with special needs. Her evidence-based approach ensures her designs create meaningful, responsive environments where people feel valued and inspired.

In recent years, Magda has shifted her formal design expertise into hands-on creation with weaving and collage. These works experiment with composition, layering colour and texture to explore her emotions and experiences. Through tactile materials like paper, raffia and yarn, Magda weaves together images and memories, creating a meditative process that brings balance and joy to her everyday life.

By uniting her life experiences with her heritage and identity, Magda’s experimental style creates a vivid tapestry of her journey.
