STATION is delighted to present Earth 2, André Piguet’s sixth solo exhibition with the gallery.
Piguet’s multi-disciplinary practice is driven by material experimentation, exploring the intrinsic potential and limitations of diverse substances.
For the artist, the act of making is a physical engagement that creates a site for a deeper, ongoing conversation with the elements he works with.
In this new series of drawings and paintings, Piguet explores the inherent qualities and capacities of ink, iron oxide, and mica on Kozo paper resulting in works that are at once familiar and enigmatic.
