Friday 13 June from 6pm to 9pm
Celebrate Refugee Week with us as we raise funds for refugee-led education and girls education in Afghanistan. Muzafar Ali will be joining us for a film screening and fireside chat.
All ticket sales and donations will go directly to supporting Cisarua Learning.
This June, Muzafar Ali and the Cisarua Learning Team will be cycling 4,000km from Maleny to Adelaide to support refugee-led education and women's education in Afghanistan!
Ten years ago, they started the first refugee-led school in Indonesia with just $200 and a dream. Today, their community has grown to support over 1,300 students across seven refugee-led initiatives.
Muzafar is riding because of the girls in Afghanistan who can't attend school, the refugee children in Indonesia seeking hope, and for all their supporters who've believed in them for a decade. This journey isn't about speed—it's about patience and commitment, the same values that built their schools.
