Join the artists of CBD Gallery's September exhibition, Inner Currents, for an engaging hour of insight and discussion into each of their works. Inner Currents is a group exhibition showcasing five artists and their unique approaches to abstraction and reflecting their lived experiences.

Each artist transcends literal representation, instead utilising abstract art to delve into the emotional and psychological complexities that shape their identity and perception of the world. Each work address difficult to represent psychological questions and themes; alienation. uncertainty, attention, and the post-digital self. Abstraction, with its open ended forms and nonrepresentational gestures, reflects the unseen inner landscapes of the artists, offering a visual dialogue on anxiety, freedom, and belonging.

Viewers are invited to explore these deeply personal inquiries, recognising that the abstract processes reveal not only the artists' inner worlds but also broader societal concerns.
