Sydney Lunar Streets
Haymarket Saturday 14 February, 5pm–10pm
Kick off your Lunar New Year celebrations and see the laneways of Haymarket transformed into an exciting street festival. Chinatown will buzz with lion dances, live entertainment, roving performers, street food, markets and more.
Lunar Extravaganza
Sydney Town Hall Saturday 21 February Two shows: 2pm and 5pm
Performers from Chinese, Korean, Thai, Japanese and Vietnamese communities share their culture through traditional and contemporary dance and music.
Lion dancing and cultural performances
Hay Street and Campbell Street, Haymarket Fridays to Sundays, Friday 20 February to Sunday 1 March
Lion dancing troupes and cultural groups ring in the Lunar New Year with plenty of drumming, dance, flamboyance and skill.
Lion dancing at Sydney Town Hall steps
Sydney Town Hall Tuesday 17 and 14 February Two shows each day: 1pm and 1:30pm
Welcome good fortune and prosperity into the Lunar New Year with an exciting lion dance during your lunch break.
